A Traffic Magnet Page is a web page that has been optimized for search engine placement. For example, if you sell "widgets" you'd hope that a link to your web site will appear high in a search for the word "widgets" on Google, Yahoo, Search MSN, etc.

Being highly placed through an Internet search, is one the most important asset levels you can achieve. Everyday it becomes increasingly more valuable, as more people use the Internet to search out products and services. Will they find you, or your competitors?

Your homepage might already be somewhat of a magnet for the traffic you seek. Why not visit your favorite search engine and do a search? Where do you come up?

Did you come up in the top 10? The top 100? Are you listed there at all?
(Note: The search term(s) you use are relevant, because a search for "widget dealers" may return different results that a search for "widget stores".)

If you came up in the top 10, it's likely that someone has put some real effort into your web site. Maybe you've paid for this, and you know how expensive it can be. But face it, you better be well represented in this area.
